New (School) Year, New Website
The past few months have been hectic, to say the least. As you can see, my website looks a bit different now. After returning from my 3-month blogging hiatus, I decided both my blog and website needed a bit of a facelift. So here we are, working through the kinks of a new experience. Even though it's been a while, I'm finally back with some quick highlights of what you've missed. (Don't fret, I also promise to re-post some throwback content from my previous blog.)
August.
This summer I was officially hired as the Undergraduate Assistant for the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program. I had the wonderful opportunity to continue being a PINK Campus Representative for the University of Florida, and I was also offered an internship with CollegeVox.
August 24th marked the first day of my college senior year. With a 15 credit workload, including 2 masters classes, 2 internships and 1 part-time job, I was prepared for a very busy semester.
September.
On September 2nd I rang in 22 the only way that seemed appropriate. No, not with Taylor Swift, but rather with waffles. Not just any waffles, but blueberry and honey topped Belgian Liege Waffles.
September seemed to fly by. Between classes and exams, getting used to a working schedule and balancing Gator Football every Saturday, I blinked and suddenly it was October.
October.
It's October 19th and things haven't slowed down one bit, and that's okay. I've been busier than ever. No scratch that, I've been more productive than ever and I'm looking forward to finding some time to blog again. With job applications and graduation soon approaching, I've vowed to put some time aside for myself. Besides, I recently got an A+ grown up button, so I'm morally obligated to keep you up to date on my journey into the real world.
