Friday Favorites
After spending all this time inside, I thought it might be time for a new blog series. Introducing Friday Favorites: a place where I can share links that I love!
Since this is a shorter series to share some of my new-found favorites, I’m really going to try to stay consistent with this. So, without further ado, here’s what I’m baking, binging, and buying this week!
Baking
In honor of the holiday weekend, I wanted to make something a little more creative than a traditional apple pie. But still in the fruit-and-pie category. Lucky for me, my obsession with food blogs has paid off!
What’s Gabby Cooking posted the most incredible recipe that I knew I just had to try! A Salted Key Lime Pie was exactly what I was looking for! The combo of sweet and salty with the added pretzels in the graham cracker crust? It’s almost too good to be true!
I’ll be tweaking the recipe ever so slightly by making mini pies instead of one full-size pie!
Binging
Much like everyone else during this Quarantine, we’re definitely streaming more than usual. Between Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, and now HBO Max, we are set! We’ve watched Love is Blind, Tiger King, Upload, Community, and Space Force. Currently, we’re watching Schitt’s Creek.
In just a few weeks we’ve knocked out almost the entirety of the show. We’ve only got about 5 episodes left, and I’m so sad knowing it’s coming to an end.
Buying
Iced coffee is one of my favorite indulgences. We don’t typically get it often, but I do have a few local coffee shops that I adore. However, since we’re not going out as much, I’ve taken to making cold brew at home!
That’s right, I’m grinding my own coffee beans and everything. Trade Coffee has been the perfect way for me to try new and exciting coffees without having to leave home! Right now I’m drinking Petunias from Revelator. It makes a perfect cold brew, and works well in our French Press!

Another impulse-worthy, add-to-cart item is this embroidered mask from Folk Project. I already have two, one in grey and one in navy, and am considering a third. (I really need that mustard color to round out my collection.)
